Dr. Christopher M. Anderson
Dr. Christopher “Chris” M. Anderson is originally from Ohio but has lived in Marietta since 1984. He attended Sprayberry High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree at Kennesaw State University.
In May of 1999, Dr. Chris graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He received awards of excellence in prosthodontics (dentures, partials and bridgework) and in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Chris has been practicing here for the past 20 years, and in early 2003, he became sole owner of Georgia Dental Medicine.
Over the years, Dr. Chris has continued his education, including receiving a surgical certification for the placement of dental implants. He also has received training in Tekscan, JVA, EMG and 3D dentistry, and is level 2 certified at the Center for Neural Occlusion. He is a member of the Northwestern District of the Georgia Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association® and a former member of the Cherokee Dental Study Club (part of the Seattle Study Club). In recent years, Dr. Chris has been attending the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Dr. Chris is also part of the Pankey Institute faculty, which is quite an honor.
Dr. Chris has a special interest in using the latest dental technology to improve patient outcomes. He has also mentored nine+ of his recent dental assistants, college graduates, who are now studying at the Georgia Regents University (Medical College of Georgia) to become dentists.
Dr. Chris enjoys helping patients of all ages, from 3 to 93, especially our senior patients and veterans.
Outside the office, Dr. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Leigh Ann, and being a dad to his two children, Jordan and Abby. Dr. Chris enjoys wood and metal work, target shooting and gunsmithing, and piloting. Many of the office remodeling projects were accomplished by Dr. Chris and his father. Dr. Chris is also a big “Star Wars” fan and we invite you to check out some of our “Star Wars” memorabilia throughout our office.

Mike Anderson, Office Manager
For over 10 years, Mike has been helping Georgia Dental Medicine. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree, he worked at HP. After he retired, he has used his technical, IT and business background to help his son, Dr. Chris. He loves keeping active at the office, as well as at home, with yard work, home maintenance and computer technology.
Cleo joined our office in 2003. Since then, she has helped ensure the success of our practice by helping insurance claims to be processed quickly and efficiently. Cleo enjoys the friendships and other benefits of being a member of Georgia Dental Medicine.
Michelle Runnels, Receptionist
Michelle has been working at Georgia Dental Medicine for three years, but she has enjoyed being a patient here for over 25 years. After receiving an associate degree in surgical technology, she had a 20-year career as a certified surgical technologist. Michelle loves being a part of the practice and being around our great patients and team members. At home, she loves spending time with her two grown children and five grandchildren. Michelle is also an outdoor enthusiast and loves both reading and hiking.
Sue Camp, Receptionist
Sue has helped our office grow for over 20 years and knows most patients by name. She enjoys making and growing the friendships we have with our patients and team.
Christine Berneer Kline, Dental Hygienist
In 1999, Christine graduated from the Medical College of Georgia. Since joining Georgia Dental Medicine, she has provided excellent care of our patients. Christine enjoys the friendships she makes each day, between patients and between her team members. When not in the office, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her two girls. Christine has an infectious laugh.
Lori Warnett, Dental Hygienist
As a hygienist, Lori works to provide comprehensive, effective care for each patient. In addition to focusing on individual care, she also learns and stays up-to-date on new technology. Lori graduated in 1995 from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL. She is married to her husband, Joe, and together they have a son and daughter. She loves spending time at her kids’ activities, spending time at the beach and gardening.
Janet White, Dental Assistant
Since 2007, Janet has been working with Georgia Dental Medicine, but she first started dental assisting in 1978. Each day, she works to provide the latest and best dental care. She enjoys building up the relationships between her fellow team members and our patients. At home, she loves fishing, kayaking, traveling and spending time with her Yorkie. Janet has two daughters and two wonderful grandchildren.
Kristin Ramey, Register Dental Assistant
Since graduating from her dental hygiene program in 1993, Kristin has become a valuable member of our team. For over 25 years, she has loved working with the best coworkers here at Georgia Dental Medicine. At home, Kristin spends time with her husband, Bill, and their two children, Hannah and Bryan. In her free time, she also loves to travel.
Nick Moore, Dental Assistant
Over the past year, Nick has supported both our dentist and his fellow team members. He enjoys being an important part of a team that provides quality care with the assistance of cutting edge technology. Nick is aspiring to become a dentist and has earned his Bachelor of Science in environmental health from the University of Georgia. When not working, Nick enjoys snowboarding and staying active. Both his mother and father live locally, while his brother, David, lives in Boston.
